There’s something special that happens when people gather around live music.
A familiar melody brings back memories. A smile appears. Feet begin tapping. Someone quietly starts singing along. For a little while, worries fade and a room becomes a happier place.
That’s why Harmony of the Gorge Chorus loves sharing music throughout our community.
We sing in retirement communities, community celebrations, holiday events, fundraisers, and wherever people could use a little more joy. We don’t want cost to determine whether someone gets to experience live harmony, so we never want our performance fee to be the reason we stay home.
When friends choose to support our chorus, they’re not simply helping singers. They’re helping bring music to neighbors, families, seniors, children, and community gatherings throughout the Gorge.
Every gift helps another audience experience the simple gift of song.
Harmony of the Gorge Chorus is a group of women from all walks of life from the Columbia River Gorge. Throughout the year, we share the joy and healing of music throughout our communities, including the following :

Why we don't charge...
- Many performing groups charge a performance fee—and understandably so.
- We’ve chosen a different path.
- Whenever possible, we’d rather remove financial barriers so schools, senior communities, nonprofit organizations, festivals, and community events can enjoy live music without worrying about the budget.
- The generosity of donors, audience members, and friends helps make that possible.
- Together, we’re able to keep sharing music where it’s needed most.
