Sharing – Singing – Learning – Growing – Giving
“I Want to Sing”
WE will be starting our new classes January 12, 2026
People sometimes tell us, ‘I wish I could sing like that.’
We always smile because many of us started by saying exactly the same thing. It turns out singing isn’t reserved for a gifted few. It’s something that grows when ordinary people are willing to laugh, learn, and keep showing up together.
This chorus is all about having fun learning to sing with others.
Have you ever been told that you can’t or shouldn’t sing?
You are not alone!
Google says that over 50% of our population
say that they can not sing!
Please let us help bring singing
back into your life!
If you have any questions,
please call or text Judy Galloway

Our new chorus in the Gorge is always open for anyone to come by, drop in, and check us out.
Questions? Here’s a few answers:
A lesson to learn from The Muppets
The secret of The Muppets is they’re not very good at what they do. Kermit’s not a great host, Fozzie’s not a good comedian, Miss Piggy’s not a great singer. None of them are actually good at it, but they LOVE it! And they’re like a family, and they like putting on the show. And they have joy! And because of the joy, it doesn’t matter that they’re not good at it. And that’s like what we should all be — Muppets. – Brett Goldstein
I found this really good video to share with you containing good advice for people, like us, who are wanting to sing. Ian Castle is a professional singer and vocal coach from Australia, hence the name Aussie Vocal Coach! His website says: “I’ve certainly had my fair share of trials and tribulations as a singer so I know how confusing and frustrating learning to sing can be.” This video will give you some insights and enjoyable singing exercises to help develop your voice.

Watch us singing for a luncheon party at the Hood River Adult Center just before Christmas 2025.
We have several members and family members with health issues that put them in high risk, so if you’re not feeling well, please take that week off and review your music at home. There will be other rehearsals.
